Adam has just completed his school's cross country competition. He came 12th in his year group. I bet it was super duper hot stuff running in the Malaysian heat!
This is Adam's school uniform. Doesn't he look great. I'm surprised to see that they wear long trousers and not shorts. I wonder if he gets hot?
We farewell Adam and his family back to Malaysia. We hope you have a safe trip and settle into your new school really quickly. We also hope that you make some nice friends. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

I have been going to a mall called Pacific, watching cartoons and doing a little bit of Jolly Phonics
I speak a bit of English and a bit of Malay language. I need to learn my language in school.
I ate satay, rice, chicken, buns and today will eat Happy Meal
My dad will put in pictures of me at Auckland airport and KLIA (Kuala lumpur international airport).

My school name is Darulaman Height School (Sekolah Darulaman Height is in Malaysian language).
My school uniform is white (shirt) and blue (pants). My dad will put in my picture going to school!

ReplyDeleteToday is Wednesday the 11th of April 2012. We have a public holiday because of the installation of new King and Queen of Malaysia. I stayed home in the morning and will go to my grandparents house in the afternoon. They live in Alor Setar (14 km from my house) about 20 minutes (1200 seconds).

Hi Adam. How are you doing and how are your holidays. We have been learning about lighthouses. We have learned that you can see the lights when you are in the sea and that there might be big rocks where the lighthouse is. Also when big waves crash at the lighthouse it does not snap into two pieces because they are indestructible. I miss you and I hope you will visit us one day. By Jacob

ReplyDeleteMy holidays were great. I slept over at my granny home for three days. Then, we went to my moms hometown (called 'kampung' or village). It is in Johor, which is in south of malaysia. There is a Legoland nearby. It will open this coming september. I can not wait to go there!
