I was just doing my Jolly Phonics and a loud noise interrupted me. There was a truck parked right beside our classroom window! Mrs Chambers said, "This looks interesting. let's go outside and see what they are doing". They were dumping more bark in the bottom playground. I was working well. Suddenly a loud noise came out of the large window. So JC told us to go outside. Eventually it was people putting brand new bark on the bottom playground. Then we went to our classroom and carried our work.
Our reading and Jolly Phonics was rudely interrupted by some guys who where putting new brown bark in the awesome old playground. Room 19 looked outside and saw a big white truck with piles of bark in the back. We got some wind and dust in our eyes but it was okay we only focused on the men and truck.
Some good reflections here room 19 I can tell Mrs C was ecstatic when she saw the behemoth of a truck roll laboriously across the field and begin to disgorge its load.
